About Us

City Flickers Ltd is run by a small Committee

Lucy Mantle

A surveyor with Carter Jonas, is the Chairman of the club.

Lucy was brought up in an Irish fishing lodge, but only really got the bug in recent years. Since then she has caught her first bonefish in the Bahamas, her first brown trout in the Peruvian Andes and her first rainbow trout on the River Test. She especially enjoys the riverbank camaraderie and the opportunity to zone out in glorious surroundings.

Robbie Hollis

A conflicts analyst with JP Morgan, handles the club’s finances.

Robbie has been fishing since he was 3 and first caught a tiddler at the pier in Donegal with his Dad. Fly fishing has taken him to Alaska, Canada, Venezuela, Cuba, Greenland and Bosnia among other places, following the drug of the tug around the world. London life limits his adventures and he is looking forward to getting some fishing done closer to home with the club.

Hugh Fortescue

An animal export vet, helps to organise the Club’s events.

Hugh has been a fishing fanatic since he was a toddler. A regular chasing trout and salmon up on Scottish rivers and lochs as well as the down on the chalk streams of the South West. He enjoys using the club as a chance to unwind from busy city life with like minded people and has dreams of expanding his species list, flicking his self tied flies further afield as well as closer to London.
