Description

We are extremely excited to announce that we are hosting an ‘Introduction to Chalkstreams’ day. This is solely aimed at beginners / novices.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have been provided exclusive use of East Lodge, River Itchen – one of the most prestigious beats with arguably the best fishing hut for lunch! As the day is strictly for beginners / novices, East Lodge have very generously subsided the day in return for a charitable donation of £75 per rod to WildFish and for you to sign up to their email updates about the amazing work they are undertaking.

The day will include professional tuition from Gilly Bate and her team, who recently appeared on our screens teaching Richard Hammond (pictured!). We will also be joined by WildFish who will talk to members throughout the day about the work they are currently undertaking on Chalkstreams. Both Gilly and the WildFish team will educate members on the importance of ecosystems and the fly life appearing throughout the day.

A catered lunch and alcoholic drinks are also included.

Whilst the price may appear daunting to a beginner, it is key to mention that the price has been heavily subsidised and we are unbelievably fortunate to have this deal. It will be an unforgettable introduction to Chalkstreams and fly-fishing and includes a £75 charitable donation.
