Learn about and practice grayling fishing at East Lodge on the River Itchen near Winchester with Paul Procter, celebrated fishing guide, casting instructor,  journalist and Nick Measham, WildFish’s CEO – both of whom are fully qualified AAPGAI instructors who can help with casting issues too.

Paul and Nick will discuss grayling habitat and their behaviour. They will explain and demonstrate:

• How to fish for them covering dry fly and various nymphing tactics,
• What rod, line and leader set-ups to use
• Fly and nymph selection.

Then you will fish for them with Paul and Nick on hand to help.

• Rod hire if required

During the lunch break, Paul and Nick will welcome questions about any aspect of fishing – and Nick will talk about the wonderful work WildFish does to protect our fish and rivers.
